Here are a few of my favorite photographs of gopher tortoises. I saw these while taking walks at local Central Florida walking paths. The first photograph is one taken at a local park near us. The second photograph is of a turtle that is located just a mile from our home. It’s underground burrow is located only a couple of feet from a paved trail. I have dozens of gopher tortoise photos to go through and will be posting them soon.
