A New Beginning

This is my first website for selling my photography. I will be adding many, many more photographs in each section as the days go on. I will also be providing fine art print options to the store section.

My husband and I take 3-4 mile walks every day. The camera comes with me on most of these walks since you never know who will be up for a mini photo shoot that day. I have about 1500 photographs to work through. These are mostly from those walks, but they are also from side trips to several of the nice parks located near us.

I started taking pictures around the age of 11 or 12. I began with a brand new Minolta X-370 (film camera for those in the know). It was down hill from there. I still have that classic camera, plus I got my father’s Olympus OM10 camera after he passed away.

I have always had a point-and-shoot but it’s not the same as a DSLR. When I got a Nikon D850 it operated by a whole different set of rules. No film. No waiting ‘til the roll is done then more waiting ‘til it’s developed. No worrying. Well, it’s new worries, but there is less fear of not getting the shot. The challenge is learning new buttons to fix problems right away. The fun is just beginning and the miles of walking to get the shot have just started.
